Silver and Blue Personal Coronet

I did this for several reasons: I needed a new coronet, I wanted to do something to get back into getting art done, and I wanted something to use on my business card for coronets (not sure this will be what I use). It took way longer than it should have, It is 22 inches around, Leather with Acrylic and imitation jewels and pearls.

Silver and Green Laurel Coronet

This is the newest coronet I was commissioned to do. It is for Bishop Jeffrey (sp) an old friend who requested a simple silver coronet with green square stones (I suggested the laurels and he agreed). "Silver and Green Laurel coronet", 22 1/4, Acrylic and imitation stones on Leather. (The green in the stones does not show up well in my bad photos).

Golden Trees Coronet

I was commissioned this year at Pennsic to do a coronet with trees on it. The person it is for has a gold tree on his Arms and his colors are black, gold and green. The stones I had in green I at first was not all the fond of, but seeing them in this coronet and seeing how close to Peridot they are, I now like them a lot. This came out a bit different than I expected but it is a very spiffy looking coronet in my opinion. Just a bit of Celtic and slightly Elvish in look. Leather, Acrylic metallic gold and glass stones, 23 3/4 x 2 1/2.

Windhaven Coronets

I was commissioned to make a pair of new coronets for the Barony of Windhaven in Northshield. The original plan was to do the serpent in each blue circle surrounded by a laurel, but due to the size of the circles the serpents would be just to tiny, so we modified the idea to alternate serpents and laurels. The serpent, which has a specific heraldic name I can't remember, is the main charge on their Baronial arms.

I tried some new techniques on these like using leather lace to do the edging. It came out well but not perfect, but for a first time I think it worked. I only have pictures of one of these since they are identical except one is bigger around than the other. "Windhaven Coronets", 23 and 23.5 inches around, leather with Acrylic and imitation jewels.

Silver and Blue Diamond Coronet

Here is a coronet I was commissioned to do, it is based on the Gold and Garnet coronet I did a while back. The lady wanted it larger than the Gold and garnet one and she wanted it in silver and with blue stones. "Silver and Blue Diamond Coronet", 23 inches around, Leather, Acrylic and artificial stones.

Leather Laurel

This is officially NOT a coronet, but members of the Order of the Laurel in the SCA are allowed to wear a Laurel wreath if they wish.
This was commissioned for a friend. This is not how I had hopped it would turn out. I will be doing another for him, but he waited so long for this one I will send it to him so he has something now. It is a bit over 23 inches around, cut and painted leather.
